Beautiful jewelry always makes me happy when I'm sad.
This necklace clearly is from the art deco period. Its not signed, but its from czech, and its made from glass.
The bohemian region was famous for its glass production since the 16th century. Politically lots of changes happend there, and the region changed names a lot.
In the beginning of the 20th century lots of jewelry and jewelryparts were made there to export to other countries. They did not sign much of their jewelry, they didn't think it would last.
Lucky for us it did!
Nowadays you can identify the unmarked czech jewelry because it has a destinctive style and quality.
I love the black and white contrast of this necklace.
I have bought a few of these art deco black and white-style necklaces. You can still find them very reasonably priced.
Look out for damage: any damage will affect the value big time.

I agree - makes me happy too when I'm sad. Reminds me that someone before me loved it. Very pretty.
