That is a great photo! Are you in this photo??? My family and I still have a connection with the Church of God here in North Carolina. I am thinking that is where those bee hive hairdos you wore came from, lol. You all did not have any snakes did you? That was really big in the Western part of our state back then. I think that some smaller churches in the mountains still have them.... I hate snakes!!!! COG has definitely changed since back then, women actually wear jewelry and cut their hair. This was in Groover CA . I am not in photo , I would have been a few years old only :-) I did wear bee hive hair do's though . Thanks for nice comment and also updating on COG in south . As a child I tried all different churches I would go by myself to one's I could walk to .
