Vintage Railroad telegraph insulator. This glass insulator is a green color in great condition, puts out a very nice light. Vintage style dark brown cloth covered wire. Makes a great conversation piece or center piece of any room, you can group in pairs over a kitchen island or just put one any place you wish.

    * Green insulator may vary in shape and color slightly from picture as they are all very old insulators that have been used

I used to hunt insulators. I didn't really know a ton about them. I knew a little. it was the hunt that was fun. we ran across a mother load in an old train graveyard. we also found a hobo camp from the fifties that had some old vintage glass and pottery. it's what got me going down the road of collecting I eventually ended up on. I don't have any insulators now but they're a fond reminder of being 19.
