Braveheart…

My son found this at a resale shop for $20 and moved and let me have it. I love it! Just the right size and stays on my TV with a green 25w light bulf and small cream shade. I was asking $100 but know know it I could part with it.
White resin with black coating...retro from the 1960's I'm guessing. Very nice lamp. No nicks or cracks. Great condition.
One sold on E-bay last month for $150.00 and he said it was from the 60's. I can find nothing else on Google about this particular resin lamp. If you search, search resin lamps. If you find something about it I don't know please let me know! Thanks! John ;)

she's a beauty :)
I agree with Bellin...naked pretty women are well received round here !!
Any Idea to what she might really be worth? Thanks for the comments! ;)
I have a similar one, only bronze. Instead of her hands behind her back, she has a large pillow to prop her up. Both legs are in the air and she's balancing a sphere. I'm unable to find any markings but she appears to be Art Deco based on the base.
Kathy she sounds wonderful! I have her up for sale on Craigslist Detroit Metro for a $100 but not sure I want to sell her...starting to get attached! lol She's on my TV and sure get a lot of compliments! Is yours on your site? I'll look! Love to see her! John
The fixture and cord are at least 1990's, could have been done more recently.
Thanks Phil. Appreciate it. That's a start to finding out about it. do you have any idea about the worth?
Resin for these type of Art Deco influenced pieces are quite recent and the reason is that now they can get exceptionally fine detail in the resin. Santini has been doing it for years, the black is a much newer colour. Your piece does have the advantage from what I can see of being a particularly nice moulding, especially the face. If it was in a store I think the amount they ask on this type of piece would be 160 dollars. I have not really seen any around but on ebay and other lamp stores the material of choice now is resin, the moulds can be very well done.
Should prob get a round globe that would fit. That should be easy to find in an electrical supply store or in a city. They also make bulbs now that would be a bonus if they change colours. I have several lamps that I use these bulbs in. More of a night light, but great on top of TV. Can use remote to change color, like a cobalt blue or violet light.
