This is a beautiful watch! It's an 18 size Elgin BW Raymond. It's running great and keeping pretty good time for a 118 year old time piece. Check out the engraving on that case!

Back in the day the B.W. Raymond was Elgins railroad grade watch. Thanks for the love guys...
Well, that raises an interesting point where this watch is concerned. The railroad standards act was not passed until 1893....The very year this watch was produced. So, depending on when it was sold that year it could actually have seen some railroad service. It might have even been "grandfathered" in and could have spent it's early life in the pocket of some railroad worker. Even with that face... I love the look anyway, including the fleur de lis hands.
Nice piece, thanks for sharing, don't know how I missed this one for so long
Nice looking time piece, love the case work.
Thanks for the love guys. I'm going to post the rest of my watches individually if I can ever get around to it. Most of my time spent on here is while I'm at work...lol... When I get home there's always so much to do!! I wonder sometimes if a lot of the people on here aren't retired or something. AR8Jason has like 400 plus items posted!! I envy him...lol...
Thought I'd float this one again. It's one of my favorites...
