In the late 1960's early 1970's I lived in Germany. At one point I lived on a Royal Air Force base, RAF Bruggen. As a child they let me walk anywhere. I came across a dump the size of 4 football pitches, and spent hours looking through discarded items, these are the very small collection of what I found, I had other items, like American helmets, paperwork, and ammo pouches, but I used those for swapping with other children for toys etc. Now I wish I had kept them. This dump is still buried, and full of discarded militaria!!
