ART DECO CERAMIC BLACK BOWLS
found these to be a very very interesting find . i loved these bowls and bought them as well . im wondering who made these and designed these and what company produced them. these two bowls have numbers in the oddest places on these beautiful bowls on the lip of the bowls. i love the design and well the color is great. i have a feeling that these are european as well and not american.

Do the y have a base, a foot or are they lids?
hello vetraio no foot and when i bought these they marked as bowls and they looked like they used as a bowl , but who knows , interesting find.
there is wore area on the bottoms as well so have to be bowls:)
im wondering if these are czech because it looks like how that blue pitcher i have has that same coloring process.
well i really dont have any idea any more but they are interesting:)

Sean, I think these are enamelware bowls. 40s likely. I have seen the numbers on the edge before, but I just can't remember what it was...My brain does not want to give it up.
Hard to tell how the enamel is holding up from your photos. They would vintage flea market sell at 20 to 30 for the pair.
