Last week Mac put out a call for pictures showing how you display your glass. I have way too much glass to do in one sitting but for now, this is my livingroom display. No where near as clean and slick as Mac's livingroom but whatcha gonna do? :)
The smallest kit has been sleeping on the bookshelf under one of the glass displays. It had been a heavy uranium shelf but since he has been sleeping directly under it I did a remodel last night so that only non-reactive things were on that shelf.
the big ikea bookshelf that I feature is right next to the couch so it gets used as a side table a lot of the time. You'll notice an empty nook. That is Andromeda's nook. If I put glass in it she gets very grumpy and will knock it out. But if I leave it open for her the glassgodkitteh is appeased and will just sit in it quietly sometimes. :) I Need to redo the very top of it. my glass arrangements are very much in flux here.

the cats really aren't a problem with the glass. they're very well behaved. they have each other for entertainment. I'd be worried if i only had one bored/lonely cat but they are far more interested in chasing each other than the glass. I just have to keep glass off of flight paths. :) I can't stress how important it is to have at least two cats if you have one at all. They ARE very social animals regardless of the media stereotypes that people have given them. Like dogs they get neurotic if they don't get interaction with their own species.
My other friend is earthquake putty just in case. :)
