Painting on canvas (glued to board) by Renowned artist Lawrence Williams..1980 kenny Rogers as the Gambler and as himself...I have found lots of Lawrence Williams Paintings and Know he had gallery in Beverly Hill,Ca..He has over 30 presidential paintings in the smithsonian and famous for Elvis paintings..I cant find info on Kenny Rogers Paintings..Are they one of a kind or Did he produce multiples of these.(Like he did for graceland of Elvis)..any input would greatly be appreciated..thank you

Maybe Kenny Rogers would know? Have you tried to contact him?

I have tried repeatedly to contact Him (thru his website and his facebook),same with Dolly Parton, since it was done same time as "islands in the stream".I thought she might know..tried auction kings,craigslist,artsucks.com,and local sales network..I got this lead from craiglist person...I have tried everything for about 4 months so far...I can only find "the gambler is from vcr box cover,artsucks.com found that...Im pretty well obsesssed and think these are 1 of a kind..Im trying to find out how to proove it....thanks for your comment

Sorry you're not having any luck. That's the only suggestion I had.... I'll keep my eyes open! The paintings are very nice.

I also have a velvet painting of Kenny Roger by Lawerence Williams. It was given to me in the late 70s. I don't think there are too many of them, but I don't think they are extremely rare or expensive
