Love the shape of this petey !
Look like an Art Deco form, petey!
Nice!
stunning:)
Most unusual, petey! Have seen similar base form in Czech flacons from 1920's - 1930's, but not with the type of faceting that appears on the flacon. I am wondering if the faceting always appears 'icy' and not pellucid - perhaps it appears thus only in the photo? Stopper looks unusual for base, too. The flacon looks like heavy crystal, not glass. I'm not a Czech perfume bottle person. (I'm a Rene Lalique. Baccarat admirer.) There are some persons on CW who are rather fond of Czech and might well know a lot more about this flacon. I am not stating that this is Czech, merely suggesting that it might well be. Exciting piece!!! : )
Hi, petey. The stopper to this was bothering me - it was setting a bit too high. I now think that this is a replacement stopper. Missing stoppers in old Czech
bases is not unusual. Base very unusual! Stopper you have is very attractive in
that it coordinates with another in your collection. Perhaps the replacement stopper was chosen for that reason....
Thanks for the love czechman.
