   Ah, brings back pleasant memories of Alfred Jingle, aka 'The Loquacious Stranger'. Jingle carried his belongings in a paper bag and described himself as a "Philosopher". Here he is warning Mr. Pickwick, with whom he was sharing a horse-drawn carriage, to duck as they approached an arch.
   
   Jingle: "Heads, heads - take care of your heads", cried the loquacious stranger as they came out under the low archway which in those days formed the entrance to the coachyard. "Terrible place – dangerous work – other day – five children – mother – tall lady, eating sandwiches – forgot the arch – crash – knock – children look round – mother's head off – sandwich in her hand – no mouth to put it in – head of family off – shocking, shocking. Looking at Whitehall Sir, – fine place – little window – somebody else's head off there, eh, Sir? – he didn't keep a sharp look-out either – eh, sir, eh?"
   
   Pickwick: 'I am ruminating,' said Mr. Pickwick, 'on the strange mutability of human affairs.'
   
   Jingle: 'Ah! I see—in at the palace door one day, out at the window the next. Philosopher, Sir?'
   
   Pickwick: 'An observer of human nature, Sir,' said Mr. Pickwick.
   
   Jingle: 'Ah, so am I. Most people are when they've little to do and less to get....'

   Thanks for the love BELLIN68, and the kind comment. Really I can not claim credit for collecting these latest things, more thanks to my parents avid collecting. As there is no web site which is for "Parents Collectors Weekly"! I will just share them on CW as and when I find anything I think is interesting in the boxes I am sorting, or need help with ID. It never ceases to astound me the knowledge other collectors are willing to give freely on CW, or even conduct their own research into objects posted, and then share their findings.
