This is The Ideal Toni Doll and were a promotional doll, connected with the Toni cosmetic company, she was sold with her own home permanent kit.

Everything mother had to perm your hair, the Ideal Toni Dolls had the same. A permanent solution, made of sugar and water. There were also end papers and a comb, just as in the adult home permanent kits.

She was first put on market in 1949
This doll is all original and appears to never have been played with .

These are made of hard plastic and came in a few sizes , This one is a p90 she is 14" there were other sizes using markings p91,p93,
Always be careful when buying early Hard Plastic dolls some get a bad sour smell it is bad . The material in some of the plastic decomposed and it is not any odor you can get rid of . If they don't have it now they never will. Just a tid bit for anyone buying hard plastic dolls :-)
