My dad has had this chair since the remodel of the barber shop (late 60's early 70's) at the Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles. Its in great shape, gold plated and never touched since it left the hotel. It would be great if anyone knows where to find some pics of this chair in use. It has seen many famous people, the stories it could tell if it could talk. I was told that even JFK had his hair cut in this chair back at the democratic convention that was held at this beautiful hotel. Just wish I had a nice place to display this piece of history.

The Los Angeles Biltmore Hotel open it's door in 1923, my grandfather was a barber in that hotel until he retired 1934. somewhere in my pile of photo's I have pictures of him standing by his chair with a towel folded over his arm, almost like saying next person please.
