I found this treasure at an estate sale in Laguna Beach today. The owner told me that her father had it hanging in his house for over 50 years.
It measures approximately 51" x 72" and is made of wool. I'm guessing that maybe this is Navajo. The green color has me stumped; I am trying to figure out the origin and pattern.
    Thanks for any insight!

Yeah, the green is very unusual, definitely not traditional

This is Mexican, not Navajo. It's from the Texcoco region, northeast of Mexico City.
