MANNING - BOWMAN & CO. -USA /DATES 1930's

found this tonight at goodwill , for $6.99 . it dates to the 1930s , made in usa , it is chrome. with wood finials. so this a very very well kept percolator. in execellent condition , with the original electrical cord as well .

_________MANNING-BOWMAN-USA__________
Manning-Bowman's products were made for a much longer time than those of the Chase, Revere, or Alcoa companies, but whose products present a buying opportunity for the lover of Art Deco kitchenware, barware or electrical appliances.

Located in Middletown, Connecticut, the Manning-Bowman company had its start in 1832. Unlike the Chase or Revere companies, which at first produced copper or brass in its mills, the Manning-Bowman company from the beginning was geared toward the creation, manufacture and sale of consumer products for the American home.

The company named for Edward Manning and Robert Bowman, two prominent Meriden, Connecticut citizens (who were part of a group of Meriden citizens who purchased and re-organized the company in 1872), now focuses on the production of mounted enamel ware, Britannia, planished tin, and copper goods.

How do you find so much at the GW? Every time I go to the local GW I walk out disappointed. Do you go at a certain time of the month, day, or week?

The GW in AZ seems to be corrupt. I have never found anything cheap ever. I bought some art prints for 50 apiece once but that's about it.

    Hey BELLIN68,
I happen to come across a set that looks similar to yours , with black handles and and it has engarved rings around the perculator, sugar and creamer ... Any idea when this could be from?
