Hello again,
I don't know what this is, but it was pretty enough to buy at a recent estate sale.
At first I thought it was a ring holder, then some type of candleholder......
now I'm clueless.
It's lovely, with very attractive hand painted and gold adornments
Unfortunately there isn't a mark on the bottom,
Any guesses what it might be, or perhaps you know what it is?
Thanks and Happy week to all,
Tonino

I think you might be right with the candle idea, Tonino.
The cover would work well and has the same conical form of a candle snuffer.
As such a clever piece of early design.
No marks?
English?
Copeland?
Kevin & Tony you're both awesome! Thanks for the love
and Kevin, thanks for the comment, I think you're right about it's use as a candleholder.
I'll see if I can find anything to compare it to.
Good night to you Good day

Thanks for the love M
Budek, please take care in this snow! Might get to use your beautiful candle holder tonight - or the snuffer. We won't forget you, sir. : )
