This Antonin Rückl & Sons, Vcelnicka vase or fairy lamp bottom section is made of cased spatter glass. The decor colors include red, yellow, and black. Bohemian glass lamp base is quite colorful and a little larger than most at the top. Top section had an embossed artichoke leaf pattern. It measures 7.5 inches tall and has a brass shade ring at the upper rim. It rests upon a leaf shaped foot of applied clear glass which is repeated on the upper candle bowl.
This shape was shown in the 1895 Hosch catalog page above as Figure 7346. Adjacent to this figure you will find several similar shapes in assorted spatter glass decors with applied decorations. Figure 7348 shows a similar shape in a yellow and white variegated decor. The vase shape illustrated above (figure 7346) was also offered in a yellow and white variegated spatter glass decor.
