Arrow River Multi Denominational Church - circa 1906 - 1910
In 1905 the residents of Arrow River MB, purchased for $500 the Presbyterian Church from Hamiota, MB. It was dismantled by a local carpenter & hauled apx. 15 miles & reassembled on it's new foundation
The Church was officially opened in March of 1906.
This is the Church that my Great Grandparents, my Grandfather & his sister's family attended upon their arrival from England.
This photo was in my Grandfather's collection, but the years have taken there tole on it.

Thanks for the love Ted.
You did a really fine job on the pic David, wondered if the church is still around ? The one on the net I thought I found looks a lot smaller. Wonderful how taking a group picture in those days was such a monumental event. Beautiful photo !~
Thank you so much Phil, that's means a lot to me coming from someone with such talent.
The Church was torn down in the 80's & was replaced with this Memorial

You're right that was a big event at the time, they had a good turn out for services that day.
Thanks for the love Gargoyle.
Too bad, that small church was what I saw on line, bears no resemblance really to what was there in the first place.
Yes it is, there were hard feelings in the community when that happened.
Thanks for the love Ron
