WWII British Royal Tank Corps. A friend of mine had a brother in the Royal Tank Corps, in WWII, he had his cap badge made into a key ring. Not a tank corps badge but he was tank crew. His brother was killed in the war. Many years later he gave it to me. Best key ring I have got, but I can not bring myself to use it!!

Thanks for the comment miKKoChristmas11, I agree, someone has even gone to the trouble of embossing the leather, but the thing that really gets to me is the fact than I was given it, even though it was one of the few remaining memento's of his brother who had died in WWII.
Lovely piece, I guess he knew you would treasure it & keep the memories of his brother alive.
beautiful !!!!!!!!!!! love this and your welcome petey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for the love BELLIN68, I love it. I do not know if the key ring part was a mass produce thing which he bought and then added his brothers badge, or if he had the whole thing made. He got upset when he talked about his brother so I did not like to ask.
your very welcome petey :) the ring part is newer:) and added:) poor guy , really loved his brother.
