Hi,
I got some plates last year from my husbands grandparents home. They were born in the beginning of 1900. They lived a farmer life assuming they did not have much money to buy the best on the market.
Anyhow, I am curious what kind of plates they are, have been looking but can't find any information or pictures of "my" plates.
They look very much like the Johnson Brothers Prince of Whales Oval Serving Platter England Old ( I have two of those also) and the
Johnson Bros Prince of Wales Old English Luncheon Plate, but without the ornament in the middle of the plate.
On the back of the plate I also would like to know what the "E" stands for.
Can anyone bring some light on this?
