Greetings: I purchased this on Ebay about 10 years ago. The base glass is clear with etched red glass overlay. The red layer is smooth with no texture - it depicts 2 nude women with trees, leaves, etc. It is 10" tall and the base is totally smooth as well. To the best of my recollection, the seller lived in the Netherlands. It is definitely, but indistinctly signed with small letter etching into the clear glass on the side of the vase towards the bottom. Best guess as to signature is "Fr. S------ck" - but again, only a guess. ???? Regards.

Howdy: I just located the Ebay listing from this purchase in 2005. The seller attributed this vase to Steinschonau (style of Stanenhumpen), circa 1862. Regards. ???
