This is a Whitefriars ribbon trail vase, designed by Barnaby Powell, 1932-5.
It is a rarer 2 colour vase in Sea Green and Blue. This is rarer colour way in a rarer shape in a big size.
I bought this at Christies, in was in the Parkington Collection. I had marked lots of pieces I would like to buy but most sailed away past their estimates and this was one of the few pieces that didn't.
