I bought these items 40 years ago! My first attempt at collecting (my parents were big collectors). I bought them from a nice Birmingham Michigan antique dealer, Ann Thatcher. She had beautiful things (approved of by my mother!)
She told me that these were done by "Brown" (can't remember the first name), and showed me similar pieces in a book about (museum quality?) toleware. Does anyone know about Tole artists? I can't find anything about individuals by name. Any ideas on how I can confirm what Thatcher told me? Thanks!
