This ceramic item promotes Vanceril, a breathing aid. It is made of ceramic material, and is 4.5 inches (10.4Cm) tall. With this size, and handle, I guess that it could be a beverage container, but I use it as a pen/pencil holder.
Though this is not very old, it is a wonderful promotional item which was passed out by the pharmaceutical representative to Physicians. This practice was banned in the USA some years ago, so such ad material will become more and more scarce. The same could be said regarding tobacco promotion in the USA.
