I purchased this beautiful wall Art today in an estate sale....I'm dying to know more about it!!!! All I know is that its made in Portugal like printed on back side ( see second photo of back side)
Some reading says it made of estanho , when I translate its tells me Tin, I've weighed it and its about 19 lbs but I'm still not sure that its tin. If anyone can help me identify the artist,its material and its worth I'd love to know... I'm thinking of getting it reframed , I really do love this piece :)
It measures 31" x 20"
Pewter "Last Supper" but based on another version rather than the one by Michelangelo. I think it is based on the 1560 version by Juan De (Vicente) Juanes (Masip) b. ca. 1523, Fuente de la Higuera, d. 1579, Bocairente.
