Although you can never be definite on these things I think this an English pedestal salt boat, circa. 1790-1800. It has a press moulded diamond shaped lemon squeeze pedestal foot. Shallow cut diagonal crosses on the bowl and a scalloped edge.
The shallow cutting implies that it is earlier rather than later.
I can't remember where I bought it.
