I found this watch years ago in an old jewelry box of junk that I purchased at a garage sale. It looked really old, so I took it to a watch repair man and he said it was solid gold and offered me any watch in his store in exchange for this one. I refused and got it fixed and running. It is an Elgin and the band can be detached to make it a pocket watch to hang on a pin or chain. I'm wondering if anyone knows anything about it.
