It was in the early 70's when I was in London at Harrods where I bought this two gold knurled rings. It was then just fashionable to wear several other rings there between.
After a number of years I have these two separate rings changed by a goldsmith in a white gold combination containing three small brilliants. After all these years I wear this ring, always together with one of the other rings (see photos) still with pleasure. Only I cannot apply those rings no more to my ring finger but I wear them nowadays on my little finger. Even the antique Whale baleen wrapped with gold ring already published here on CW on: http://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/49079-whale-baleen-wrapped-with-gold-ring-and is very nice between them as well as my golden with small diamonds. Still very varied and very portable at all sorts of clothing and all kinds of occasions. Would you agree with me?
