My Grandmothers sister moved to Canada and that branch of my cousins I still have close contact with . The Family settled in Conquest Saskatchewan Canada in 1909 and then Ardath and Outlook . These Photo's were taken by Walksoft when he went with his wife to visit my cousin . He was kind enough to take photo's for me as I have never been there but they come to USA every year .
In 2011 Conquest had a population of 176 living in 85 dwellings, a 5% increase from 2006. The village had a land area of 167.6 km2 (64.7 sq mi)

Ardath is now really a deserted town with 16 residents my cousin being one of them.

Very beautiful, Manikin!!! So glad that you have these to remind you of your loving family, and of their triumph and joys. Remarkable orange building with yellow roof -- so attractive. : ) Also think the metal buildings are most handsome. Good for Walksoftly! Hope you're getting some clement weather up there in WI, and that it's not BRRRR. Do, please, take care! xxxox : )

Very nice photos, grain elevators really are wonderful to see. I remember when Joni Mitchell was here to show her art, and she had some beautiful photos she took of grain elevators. Lucky Conquest still has 2 elevators.

Thank you very much, Manikin, I am doing well! Sounds a bit nippy outside, but given the weather that descended on the East Coast, I think it sounds pretty fair. Soon, snowdrops and daffodils will arrive, and you'll be out there in the garden with Pinocchio and Gumby! Bit nippy here, too, but I am fond of nippy weather. Take care!!! xoxox : D
