Hi Cesar, this Hotei, one of the Japanese Seven Lucky Gods. He is frequently shown with a staff and large sack, in which are held gifts and toys. He is sometimes shown seated on the sack, and as yours, simply seated. He is somewhat the equivalent of the western Santa Claus and usually has a wide smile.
