Whirlpool Mixer...Has to be one of the firsts...Papers say "Deluxe Hand Mixer" Was made in Alliance Ohio, by the Alliance Manufacturing Co, who later became whirlpool. I can find no date, or any other info on it from Whirlpool. Can U help. It works, and you push the black round thing on top to stop the beater from spinning. The papers that are inside of it are so old they crumble if u try to put together.

If anyone has any info please leave a comment!
Is it plastic or ceramic?
Is it electrical?
It is metal on top and glass bowl, and yes electric and it works
Are there any patent numbers on the metal parts anywhere? I think the glass bowl is Anchor Hocking - is there an emblem on the bottom of the glass bowl?
There is a silver sticker like thing that has something on it on the top part, but I can't read, (or anyone else), even with a magnifying glass. There is nothing on the bowl. I have heard of Anchor Hocking, where is it located?
Anchor Hocking is a glass company and the bowl looks like it is their Fire King type glass, they would have supplied the glass bowl to the manufacturer.
I cannot find any other information on this mixer. Where did you get the Whirlpool brand name from it? - Alliance Manufacturing made many different types of products ranging from fishing lures to military items.
It is on the paperwork
The closest item I could find to yours is a Whirlpool mixer but it is an earlier model where the top is not so "retro" looking and the bowl is actually a green glass Anchor Hocking 2 cup measuring pitcher. I found it here;
http://www.spglass.com - kitchenware, page 2 - electric mixers
described as Whirlpool (bowl type) speed mixer made by Alliance Manufacturing.
I cannot find any other reference or even advertisements for your particular model. Your bowl looks like Anchor Hocking Fire King or maybe jadeite glass. Hope this helps and sorry I could not find more info.
Wow, that is the closest I have ever seen, and made by the same company. Thank you so much for your help.
By the small size, I would say its specific use was for an egg beater or a mayonnaise mixer.
Actually tells something, I cant read it all, about making ice cream, on the paperwork. But it reminds me of and egg beater. Thats why I feel it has to be a first if it is a Deluxe Hand Mixer as it states.
