I have had this pig for a few weeks now and I have been struggling with the research and what to call this interior decoration pig. I ran across this on one of my GW treasure hunts. I am drawn to this for the sole fact that the glass was blown into the wire form and then the legs and head added sometime after the glass was formed. Im guessing that this is an inexpensive chinese import because I could find nothing in the way of a makers mark or signature. I just thought it was cute and I loved the red glass and chromed look of it. This little piggy went to the market...HAHA! Enjoy!

Is the head fixed and is the body hollow?.. hard to see!...just wondering?...:-/
Thank you for the love czechman and Bellin68.
The head is fixed but the body is hollow. I took horrible pics now that I see how dark they are. Not my best work for sure. I will try to get some in the daylight today to replace these with. Thanks for the love and comments Inky.

cute jay -- i don't think the glass is blown into the wire -- other way around -- from those i have seen made -- the glass is blown and the wire frame is fitted around the glass object
I suppose that is totally possible. I'm sure you are right in fact. Duh. It was just so closely fitted with the wire that I was assuming thats how it was done. But it would be just as easy to have a mold for the wire frame as well so that they would match up just right when welded together. Thanks Epson233 for waking me up on that one. My curiousity is ansered on that one now. Thanks for the Love too.
