I found this up on ShopGoodwill a while ago. It was up for auction as "Berscherzer". I guess no one realized Goodwill had gotten the name wrong so I won it for $5.00.
Now, I knew I didn't discover a lost masterpiece but I had no idea according to some, it's not worth much more than what I paid :-)
So, I probably own the least exciting Zeh Scherzer piece by Fachlehrer (teacher) Veit. He designed for Zer Scherzer and according to what little info you can find on him, he is not considered important and his work was just "meh".
I myself think it's beautiful and I think his designs are distinctive enough for me to recognize his work when I see it up for sale on European auctions.

Five bucks? Nice steal....
Yes..$5 someone over on a German antique site told me it wasn't worth much more.
Thank you. im always amazed when something as old as this vase makes it into the 21st century completely unscathed.
Did you post them? I was busy listing. I'm doing some house cleaning and as an example just don't need three Culver glasses with a shell motif..one to represent that collection is fine. This free up space for more new things. I'll go out hunting tomorrow
