This is a silver plated decanter stand with 2 ribbed mould blown decanters, circa. 1810. The decanter stand is simple being made of a sheet of metal and ribbons of metal making up the base and frame with no cast parts. The stand has loops to hold the stoppers. The decanters are blown into a square ribbed mould with simple cutting on the shoulders, octagonal pouring lips and faceted stoppers.
Whilst not the highest quality piece, even the decanters are not quite the same height, it has real charm.
