Lundy I think it is like the sayin " When pigs drive " vs When pigs fly :-)
Thank you kelkat nice to see you on one of my posts :-)
eye4 you have better eyes than me I can not make out any of the words . It could be a H ? I remember as a child when it was common for cars to have shapes like the Oscar Meyer weiner car, and others . I can not not even date this vehicle can anyone ????? Thanks for trying to help figure out what company or store was using this :-))))))))
I've got to bite my tongue here.
What I can say is:
I think this car has a lot of porque, speeding off down the runway
and that from only 1 porcpower
Bazelmania It is riding piggyback I guess :-)
oink :-)
It's no pushover
This is real piggyback marketing.
http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/sideshow/pig-weighing-nearly-300-pounds-found-wrecked-car-225350340.html
This is how the pig looks after being separated from the vehicle. Needed an accident to make it happen...
http://flamebaitpics.com/
there is your picture too.
That was great find bazelmania . What is that site ? I found this one with my deceased husbands stuff , he was a character and I could see him with it hanging in toolbox :-) I wish they would have told about it
bazelmania they have the head cut off on that one to bad they didn't get the ears :-( it is a weird website and not sure what it is for lol but it sure is same car :-)
I googled ''pig car'' & pics and there is was, among others.
It sure is the same car. Yes, shame about the ears. The name on the door is a little more clear but I still can't read it.
It's a strange website.
When you ''open'' the picture the ears are still on and on the right side just below the picture the is a name. Looks like Andre ........
I've sent you the pic by email.
Thanks I will check email :-) It must have been used to advertise and my 1st husband has been deceased 15 years so it is that old or older . Not sure were he got it but he may have got it from a co worker . We lived on a farm :-)
It looks older than that. Sorry about your husband.
The name is autopuzzles.com by the way. Can't find the pic there though.
Sorry for the loss. I guess he used to light up the room.
I found the picture on Autopuzzles.com after looking til my eyes hurt, only to find out that the guy that posted it doesn't know anything about it :-((
The guy that posted it is from Germany, but that doesn't mean it originated there, I wonder if it is European, I don't recognize the vehicle it's "MOUNTED" on.
Hi Bro !!! Thank you for trying so hard . He may have got photo from USA we will never know . Al used to write on photo's and make goofy remarks but this one had nothing on it . It was in his music book . He was a singer and writer and maybe he was doing a song about pig farming LOL
Hope you are ok xoxoxo to you and Sherry . I have not called our cousin in Ardath yet . But will about researching auto dealership
OK...Don't think I can say anything here !!!
lol Hedge you all must be seeing more than I do :-) Just a pig Ad like the Oscar Meyer Wiener car . Thanks for the love !!!!! :-)
Hey Mani ! It just occurred to me, It could be a Band hauling their equipment with their name on the door ---- "Pig Gig" (Pretty Catchy) !!!!!!!
Musik maybe so :-) I think I see a guitar sticking out of back :-)
pic car is one thing I never tried, he looked at the bacon and forgot it was a truck or van :) !~Phil.
:-) Thank you Phil I got that now lol. We had the farm changed over to a pig farm for about 5 years . It smelled awful but there are things you can train a pig to do in order to keep population up . It involves them standing at a pole that they think is a female . Strange pigs fell in love with a pole lol
One of those pole's must have been in the bed of that pickup (:-D) (:-D)
Pole dancing bores :-)
It involves a pole and a mat . He thinks it is a female and they say pigs are smart ????? Not so smart I guess . We closed the hog farm when we sold it and neighbors were glad . My Grandmother was hurt several times by the hogs and she was so tiny and frail , I did not like her working with them but she worked right up to 84 like a 16 yr old .
Did You mean "Boar" (:-D)
Musik your right on it today :-)
I don't know about me, but that PIG is (:-D) (:-D) ---- Sorry Mani, I just can't help it. Thanks Mani !!
Thank you Blunder very much :-))))))
Thank you Blunder ,HollyPicks---Cornwall ,ttom, toracat . Appreciate the love !
This is going to stay around for a while , I still laugh when I see it pop back up.
LOL nldionne you might call him a" post hog" :-)
@ music would a "boar" get bored if he didn't have a pole to dance at? lol
The more I see this the more I want to dig out some "Black Oak Arkansas" albums. :-)
I had to check that out Kerry is this album " High on The Hog "? No you didn't listen to them did you ! I never heard of them and lived in Arkansas for 2 years . But then my first husband was still alive and he played and sang so I didn't need a radio or LP's :-)))
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High_on_the_Hog_(Black_Oak_Arkansas_album)
Thanks the one, and yes Black Oak Arkansas and Ozark mountain Daredevils were some of the albums that I played a lot, back in the day, to name a couple :-)
here's one of their best, in my opinion:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fCgs8KMU-nI
meant to add this one also,
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x1FDEUEFkCI
@walksoftly Without a pole boar hog got bored, but he caught a truck, looks like he scored.
@ Eye4, link took me to Mississippi Queen and shared Ted Nuggent"s stranglehold, both very good tune, I liked Ted 's later tunes, like stranglehold, but still listen to the older ones with The Amboy Duke's
Eye4, another good tune, Have the album for this one also, while in the military, bought 3 albums every payday for 6 years, still have them all, added several after also, never got it to 8-tracks or cassette tape, burned every thing to 10 inch reel to reels of and Akai 280dss quad track
Okay one thing I'm sure of this little piggy didn't eat roast beef, he may have gone to market.
Some little piggy's got none, but he seems to be getting some action.
We can be sure he didn't stay home.
I'm sure he went "Wee wee wee" all the way down the road.
This proves he went "wee wee wee all the way home".
