Don't know much about this, so I'm looking for help in identifying the model and date. Movement says 17 jewels. Outside case says '14K GOLD' and 'BULOVA L1' with serial #4934709. Any insight on this watch is much appreciated.

thanks...any idea on the model?
Sorry no I don't know what the model is. I did search for it for a while. I'm sure I've seen it before. I know that two tone dial was advertised by Bulova as a shadow dial back in the day.
Maybe the President line, or was there a Senator line?
President and Senator were both Bulova models. I was thinking yours was a President but Presidents seem to all have 21 Jewels. I saw a 53 Senator with 17 jewels but it didn't look like your watch.
