Found and bought this last week on ebay and this has arrived to my home today i was just so excited , that i was allowed to buy this stunning piece of works of art. the wonderful Jesus Christ, i also have to thank as well for allowing me to have this and buy this at the right time. Thankyou Jesus Christ:) . this is something ive always wanted for a very very longtime. There is some damage to the base and a 2 small scuffs to the head .but i dont care about that it even tells more of interesting story and stunning look as well . it also signed o the bottom Lalique and half the word france is on there , but look at the last picture i dont think seller didnt catch this as well on the lower as pictured before the base it says R.LALIQUE AND ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE BASE SAYS FRANCE . DID BUY THIS ON EBAY:)

Nice one Bellin! You can really get some deals on pieces that have even tiny chips, some people think it totally kills the value, but who cares about a little fleabite? I sold a Lalique compote that looked like it was hit with a gold club for a hundred and a half, LOL!

Happy Valentine's Day! Great piece - and please everyone - don't laugh at me. Is this a paper weight? A radiator cover? Obviously a very nice sculpture - for the desk? Beautiful and yes - I buy items w/chips, scuffs and scrapes. It is so fun to find the perfect treasure!
hello valentino97 this paper weight but back in the the 1920's this was referred as hood ornament , know as the mascot for the very rich back in the art deco days. im thingking this could have car ornament. and Happy Valentines Day VALENTINO97 AND THANKYOU FOR THE LOVE:)!!!!

hello kerry ill will do that , and you gotten a new camera as well awesome:)
hey kerry check out this link relating to my post http://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/vintage-persons-majestic-eagle-head-hood-ornament
Hey Sean, Just read the article from Worthpoint. Wow! To think you have a piece that would be worth so much and paid for with so little has to be a rush! All I can say is Congrats buddy...you deserve it with all the work you do and commitment to time that you put into your research. Really happy for ya. So where are you placing this in the house? Somewhere safe I hope. Getting ready to post but wanted to let you know I read the article. Oh, I would have yours appraised as well.
HELLO Jerrod , theres two different verison of the eagle head mascot , the one in the link is from czechoslovakia and the one i have posted is Lalique . there is a difference in these two.the one in the link with the picture has more of greener tint color to it. and thankyou for looking :)
thankyou very much buddy :)
Yes Sean...I READ the article! LOL Hence my comments. You on the bottle today? That wine must be going straight to the head! haha
HAHAHAHAHA
thankyou rocker-sd for the love :) now we have one in the midwest:)
Hi Sean, Great piece of Lalique. As a Antique Dealer I always avoid pieces with chips or flaws ( for resale), but for my own collection and pleasure I have no qualms about a few chips and bruises. They add to the character of the piece and allow me to enjoy a piece I might not be able to afford and would be afraid to display if I could. A few tiny chips don't distract from good form. You have good eye my friend.
Hello rocker-sd , thankyou very very much for the love and looking . i have no qualms either on this one in every shape or form:) and your right it does add charcter of the piece. i also could not a afford . but i really enjoy this one very much!!!! it was a gift from the man upstair to allow me to have this:) thankyou rocker-sd:)
thankyou rocker-sd for sharing and the kind words:)
