Lovely 1920's glass perfume bottle marked Marquis Paris

Marquis of Paris was active in the 1920's and produced toiletries, perfumes and cosmetics as well as producing such items for other perfumers and under their own name - primarily for export:

1920 Chypre
1923 Niradjah

I don't have many perfume bottles. This one is my favorite. Any comments appreciated.

Happy Vday to you too - now that said - why am I on the computer when I should be out w/my sweetheart (he's working tonight). I really love junking, collecting, buying on ebay, comparing w/other nuts like me, bragging, researching....

I bet my bippy it is Czech Deco. I have a shaker in black with a red top that could be your perfume's twin in terms of color combination.

Thanks - I think it is too. The perfume co probably bought them from a Czech mfg. Do you have a picture of the shaker? Was it a powder bottle? Would love to see it.

Thank you Sean - this is a really gorgeous bottle. I found it at an estate sale stuck inside a box. That's why it was still there and I got it for $1.00. A treasure!

Thank you kevin, brat, alfredo, poop, perfumer, nuts and Sean!
