Once again our 10 year old glass collector, Joshua has acquired a new ewer shape to add to the Ruckl puzzle and it is the bloody oxblood ewer with applied Acanthus leaf pictured with another matching ewer shape done in the rainbow honeycomb decor.
All of these examples are considered, Victorian Bohemian Export. The ewer shape is unique. Ruckl added various applied handles with a leaf shape. Both of the ewers in the first pic have an acanthus leaf applied on the front and the stem is the open loop handle. The other (oxblood) ewer from the 3rd pic, has the acanthus leaf applied at the bottom of the handle. What may appear to be a blob of glass at first glance is a leaf and the stem is the open handle with pinched thorns.
Measurements:
Bloody Oxblood in first pic is 7-3/4" tall
Rainbow Honeycomb in first pic is 7-1/4" tall
Blood Oxblood in the 3rd pic is 6-7/8" tall.
