I inherited this 18K gold ring 10 years ago from my grandmother. It dates from the fourties. There are some small brilliant cut diamonds set in a 'star' setting.
Its a very big and heavy ring.
I really don't like it, but I just can't part with it because it was my grandmothers.
The only think I don't think is ugly, is the inside of the ring.
I like the way the diamonds are set (see the third picture).
But sadly enough, you cant see that when you wear it.
So what would you do with such a piece?

Hard to tell, doesn't really look as old as the 1920's though.

It doesn't matter if you don't like it and don't wear it, it doesn't have to be a piece of jewelry, its a store of value. No matter what happens the metal that it is made of will always be worth money. If the dollar goes into hyperinflation, every one in your wallet will be nearly worthless, but the ring will hold its value. If you own gold, don't ever, EVER, sell it. Even if the price skyrockets.

It's got a bit of a Deco look to it. I would love to own it!

      Thanks valentino97 for loving it.
At the tempo I'm collecting, by the time my daughters are grown up, they will have tons of jewelry to choose from.
      They are so lucky!
