This is an Whitefriars amethyst amethyst ribbon trail bowl designed by Barnaby Powell circa. 1932-35. It is 9 inches high.
Amethyst is a rarer colour for pre-WWII peices and is quite sought after by collectors.

I have a lovely treacle amber optic decanter.. heaps of wear on the base indicating age!... I would love to show you to see if you might help with identification Whitefriars was one of my thought!...:-)
