Citron?
I wouldn't say citrine. That has a waxy lustre, unless it is somewhat muted and not as shiny as the pictures seem to show.. However, it's more than likely not glass, the facets are much to even and clear cut. Andalusite can be that deep brown orange. Does it display other colours like yellow or green when light plays over it?
As for what it is, a cuff link maybe?
