NEVER SAY THERE IS NO MORE ROOM FOR A LAMP. PARTICULARLY ONE OF THESE.

ACCORDING TO THE BELLOVA WEBSITE, THE LINE WAS INTRODUCED BY IN 1923 BY H.G. McFADDIN & CO.

THIS SHAPE, CALLED THE GNOME LAMP, CAME IN THREE SIZES. MINE COMES IN AS A MEDIUM SIZED AT 9.5".

THE WEBSITE ALSO HAS A PAGE FULL OF MARKS AND SIGNATURES, BUT NONE CORRESPONDS TO THE MARK ON THE SHADE.

MY VERY FIRST BELLOVA, THE FULFILLMENT OF A LONG- CHERICHED WISH.

The top line of the mark says "patented". First time I have seen that mark on a Czech piece.
