I called Bassett this morning, as I have the same chair and was seeking more information. I found my chair for $5 at Goodwill (ridiculous, I know).

It is a chair made from Bassett's Spanish collection called El Prado. These chairs were made from 1966- 1969. This is the only information I gathered!

If you want more specifics on the chair, below is the the contact information. I would love to know more if you learn anything else. http://www.bassettfurniture.com/company/contact.asp

I was surfing the web to find information and I came across your chair picture. I joined to answer your question, but I am enjoying looking at everything on this site!

I recently came across two of these chairs at one of my favorite antique stores. It was perfect for what I wanted. The owner said they were not for sale (they were saving them to use in the café they were adding to the store). I offered her $100 for one of them and it was a hard pass. I love this chair, but in the end.... their love won out.
