I am trying to find the year this was made and maybe the value of it. I purchased at auction and would like to know more about it. There is a pressure tested for Aroma thing on the bottom and it has several patent pending numbers in it. I can not locate a serial number on it. The trays or shelf is something I have not located on the other lane pieces I have found. Can anyone help? Thank you in advance!
Lane is a common maker of these. There are many of them for sale on the classifieds so that may be a way of finding out value. The picture you have is too small to see detail to discern age. The fold out is unique. Lovely cedar chest!
