Very rare fishing creel made in Portland, Oregon in the early 1900's. Tooled buckskin leather with original strap. McMonies is the correct spelling of the company. A typo was made on a batch of the name badges. Rather than re-order correctly spelled badges, they used up the misspelled badges on creels until they were gone. Thus, making this creel even more rare and unusual!

Nicest I've seen! Didn't know they made any with leather pouch in front. For flies I guess.
