Here are my dad's 1st,2nd,and 3rd cars.I wish(him too)that he still had the first 2.
1st-1960 Impala sport coupe 6 cylinder /3-speed
2nd-1936 Chevrolet Master Deluxe(before restoration "Weenie's Womper")
3rd-1966 Impala SS 327/4-speed (still have) It has been in our garage since 1974

In the 70's my Dad bought 50's and 60's cars at farm sales for us kids to drive. He never paid more than a hundred dollars - and always w/a warning (mostly on 60's cars) This car will go very fast but you don't need to test it. Call me if you get stranded somewhere (this happened - hey $100.) . Sigh...all this before cell phones. I walked a few miles in my youth. My favorite was a square white Mercury w/red and white interior from the 60's. It lasted thru my college and had many fun roadtrips. Would love to own it now.

Wish my Dad still had his 59' ?( I think) Chevrolet Biscayne. It had the awesome fins with the cat eye tail lights. Spent many evenings in that car as a kid with my brother going to the local drive in movie theater. He made a removable platform to fill the floor space so we had a full bed in back. Good times !
