Do not know the actual number of jewels or what year it was made. Please tell me how to find jewels and the year. Thanks Steven

Check out this site, it will show you how to count your jewels. Also, I can't read anything on the watch from the pics. Post all the writing on the watch and someone might be able to help you determine a date.

Illinois Watch Co. Springfield Ill. Also in the guts the number 108718
Illinois Watch Co was in business from 1869 to 1927.... so thats a start!
From the serial number (108718) the watch can be dated to 1876!
