Excuse the not so pretty background....I just purchased this old antique looking chair. It has scrolled arms and nice details. It's very solid and large. Any ideas what this is or possible dates of production?

Not looking at the background. Really nice comfortable looking rocker. I don't know rockers that well but would say pre-1920 & probably 1880's. There is a real art to making these things where they balance right when you rock.
