    Does anyone happen to know what this is or what it is used for? I found it today for four dollars at the bargain store. Did a little scratch and tested it. Def. tests as Sterling. I am not sure what it is though. It is about six inches around and maybe an inch high. Thanks!

      oh i see! Maybe a glass bowl would go in the middle, for jam jelly mustard or something. And little appetizers would go around the middle. That makes sense, like a little serving platter.
